New Sly Cooper hints keep the revival rumor alive

Sly Cooper fans have once again been handed a suspicious crumb and told not to lose their minds. Team ASOBI posted a new tease telling fans that if they cannot find Sly, they should check the nearest safe, and yes, that is exactly the kind of thing that makes a dormant PlayStation fandom start hearing raccoon footsteps in the walls.

This does not confirm a new Sly Cooper game. It may be a cameo, a reference, a collectible, or just a joke designed by someone who enjoys emotional damage.

But the timing is hard to ignore with State of Play happening today and PlayStation needing recognizable first-party energy. Sly has been absent for far too long, and the character still fills a lane Sony does not use enough: stylish, family-friendly stealth platforming with personality. Hope responsibly, but keep the safe open.
