Cities: Skylines 2 gets a new-dev patch where the headline feature is… death

The first update from the game's newer dev team leans into simulation fixes—most memorably, removing a bug that made easy-mode cities weirdly immortal.

What it means for gamers: your city will finally behave like a city (including the messy parts). It also hints that the recovery plan is "fundamentals first," which is great long-term… but short-term it means fewer flashy features and more "we fixed the plumbing."
